Finally, I get to review a garage rock band in Billy’s garage! The White Stripes. I won’t lie to you I really love this album! I have not heard a band this original probably ever. I have probably heard of one other two-piece band before Local H. They were OK. But The White Stripes are great. Jack White is a very great musician. I believe he was voted the 16th best guitarist of all-time by Rolling Stone. People seem to always talk smack about Meg’s drumming but, I don’t see it! This is the landmark album for this band. I listen to this album regularly and I enjoy every minute. The guitar riffs are right in your face! Meg’s drumming balances the ship all the while. In an era of over-produced music this is under produced and I think it sounds great! Simple uncluttered rock music! I have a lot of favorite songs on this album. Since I can put this album on repeat and veg out! I would easily recommend this album. Fell in love with a girl is a great song. We’re going to be friends, Offend in every way, This Protector has a really good piano playing in it. This is a great album! Go grab it!
